STANDARD 4: EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
Standard 4 focuses on the quality of UCI’s undergraduate
and graduate educational programs. Specific issues addressed are academic
planning; curricular structure and coherence; assessment; integration
of research, public service, and teaching; student admissions and retention;
and academic credit and records. These are set forth in the following:
- Self-studies of all academic departments and programs (program reviews
are available in the WASC Work Room)
- Educational/degree objectives for each degree-granting program (as
published in the UCI General Catalogue)
- Student evaluations of faculty and courses (in TEACH, the Teacher
Evaluation and Course Handbook)
- Materials/forms used in the academic advisement process (available
in the WASC Work Room)
