Standard 6 ensures that UCI’s library and computing resources adequately support education, research, and scholarship needs. The quality of UCI’s library holdings, its acquisition and bibliographic services, the availability and use of these resources, and the state of information technology are addressed in the following:

• Library and other learning resource use statistics

• UCI Libraries collection and inventory statistics

• Data on the number and assignments of Library staff

• Vitae of professional Library staff (available in Work Room)

• Policies on collection development and weeding (available in the WASC Work Room)

• Policies on the security and privacy of research data (available in the WASC Work Room)

• Computer usage statistics and rate structures (available in the WASC Work Room)

• Computing and information systems policies

• User services provided by the campus computing facility

• Network and Academic Computing Services (NACS)

• Final Report of the UCI Academic Computing Support Review Committee
